Why did we come back?

As I wirte these concluding words I have just heard the weather forecast and commentary on today.  There was little rain (although it has been here for the last 2 hours) and the actual maximum was 9 degrees.  However the wind was so strong that the comfort index never got above 0!

Oh well, it will soon be August and the Acacia will be in blossom and Spring will come!
